How the tariffs work
Barcelona taxi, T-1 day tariff
Weekdays 08:00 to 20:00. Flagfall €2.80 plus €1.35 per kilometre. Every journey starting or ending at the airport adds a €4.60supplement. A taxi booked by phone or app has a minimum fare of €8.00.
Barcelona taxi, T-2 night and weekend tariff
Weekdays 20:00 to 08:00, Saturdays and public holidays. Flagfall €2.80 plus €1.66 per kilometre, with the same €4.60 airport supplement. Long journeys such as Andorra or Valencia may add motorway tolls, charged by the driver.
Taxi between the airport and the cruise port
One fixed fare of €46 between the airport and Moll Adossat, in either direction, under Tarifa 4. That is the figure to compare against a private transfer for a cruise connection, not the metered estimate above.
Aerobús
€7.45 per person each way from either terminal to Plaça de Catalunya, or €12.85 return. About 35 minutes. Serves central Barcelona only: not the cruise port, Sitges, Girona or anywhere else on this page.
Metro, L9 Sud
€5.90 per person with the Airport ticket, which is the only ticket the airport stations accept: a T-casual or any other integrated card will not open the barrier there. Up to 40 minutes to central stations, with luggage on escalators and a change for most destinations. Not available for the cruise port, Sitges, Girona or anywhere outside the metro network.
Train, Rodalies R2 Nord
The cheapest of the public options and the one most often overlooked. It runs from Aeroport station, which is at T2 only; from T1 take the free shuttle bus to T2 first. About 25 minutes to Sants or Passeig de Gràcia, roughly every 30 minutes. It is priced as a standard Rodalies zone ticket from the station you board at, so we do not quote a single figure for it; the current fare is on the Rodalies site.
