Large case = 75 × 50 × 30 cm. Cambrils is priced on the same ladder as Salou and PortAventura: the three are within ten minutes of each other, so a stay that touches more than one of them costs the same whichever you name as the destination.

The airport is not on the railway. Reaching Cambrils by train means the airport shuttle to Sants, the regional train down the coast, and then a walk or taxi from the station to wherever you are staying — three legs with the luggage. One person with a rucksack will not mind. A family arriving at nine at night generally does.
A fishing town, not a resort strip
Cambrils is the quieter neighbour on this coast: a working port, a promenade of seafood restaurants along the marina, and a beach that runs for kilometres without the high-rise of Salou next door. Most visitors are here for a week or two in an apartment or a family hotel near the sea, which is exactly the kind of stay that arrives with luggage and does not want three changes to get there.
We drop at the door — a hotel on the Passeig Marítim, an apartment block in Vilafortuny, or the marina if you are joining a boat. Tell us the address when you book and the chauffeur has it before you land.
The park is close too. PortAventura is about ten minutes from Cambrils and the PortAventura page covers the gates and the resort hotels; if your stay in Cambrils includes a park day, a car to the gates and back is a short local run rather than a transfer.
Sized for the fortnight
Two weeks by the sea is more luggage than the seat count suggests. One size up is usually right.
Seafront or Vilafortuny
Same fare anywhere in Cambrils, including the marina.
Late flights are fine
We track the flight and wait 60 minutes free from touchdown.
The drive down the coast
About an hour and a quarter for roughly 110 km: the AP-7 southwest past Tarragona, then the last few kilometres along the coast road into town. It is motorway almost the whole way, so outside the summer changeover the time is predictable.
Summer Saturdays are the exception, as everywhere on the Costa Daurada. The motorway carries the whole coast's arrivals and departures at once and the same run can take half an hour longer. A fixed fare means that costs you time rather than money — the figure agreed at booking is the figure charged.
Nearby, and priced the same way
Salou is ten minutes north, Tarragona twenty-five minutes back up the coast with its Roman amphitheatre and old town, and Reus Airport fifteen minutes inland if you are flying out on a Ryanair route rather than from Barcelona. Everything along this stretch is in the same price table, so combining two of them in one stay is a matter of comparing the rows rather than asking for a quote.
The Costa Dorada page covers the whole run from Sitges down to Cambrils.

Give us your flight number, the address in Cambrils, and how many passengers. The price is confirmed before you pay and does not move afterwards — not for traffic, not for a delayed flight, not for a summer Saturday.
- Fixed price confirmed before you pay

- Licensed VTC operator, fully insured
- Pay by card, or in cash to the driver

Common questions
How much is a transfer from Barcelona Airport to Cambrils?
From €140 for the Toyota Corolla, fixed per vehicle rather than per person — a family of four pays once. A minivan for a larger group is €180. Prices exclude VAT and tolls; 10% VAT is added only if you ask for an invoice.
How long is the drive from Barcelona to Cambrils?
About 1 hour 15 minutes for roughly 110 km, on the AP-7 past Tarragona and then the coast road into town. Allow longer on summer Saturdays, which are changeover day for the whole coast.
Is Cambrils the same price as Salou?
Yes. Cambrils, Salou and PortAventura are within ten minutes of each other and are priced together, so whichever you name as the destination the fare is the same.
Can you pick us up from Reus Airport instead?
Yes — Reus is fifteen minutes from Cambrils and we serve it. It is a short local transfer rather than the Barcelona run, and priced accordingly; ask when you book or use the Reus Airport page.
What about the train?
It is cheaper per person, and Cambrils does have a station. The airport, however, is not on the line: it means the shuttle to Sants first, the regional train down the coast, then getting from Cambrils station to your accommodation. Fine for one person with one bag; three changes with a family's luggage otherwise.
Do you carry child seats?
Yes. Child, baby and booster seats are fitted before the car is dispatched, so ask when you book rather than on the day. Pushchairs travel in the boot — mention them so the vehicle is sized for them alongside the cases.
